Mamma Roma Terms and Conditions
Restaurant Booking Policy
Mamma Roma Restaurant accepts bookings via phone, Mamma Roma Website contact form or direct email. If a booking is made via Mamma Roma Website contact form or email then a confirmation from Mamma Roma Restaurant will be sent as a response. Please note, confirmations are not automated and therefore, depending on the time of sending your booking, a confirmation might be sent the following day. It is advised to book well ahead to avoid any booking problems. If in doubt, please phone the restaurant directly. Mamma Roma Restaurant asks that once you have secured a reservation at a particular time that you adhere to that time. We strongly recommended that groups reserve a table in advance by contacting the Restaurant directly. Tel: 0131 - 558-1628 If a reservation is made then the table is yours for the whole of service and we do not normally ask you to vacate a table. However, should you arrive more than 15 minutes after your booking time without forewarning, then you may lose your table to another group. We would respectfully ask that you are ready to be seated at the time of your reservation. Should you arrive after your booking time, we may need to hold you back to a later time to ensure the best possible level of service to all our guests. It is essential that we are notified of any specific dietary requirements prior to your visit to ensure that we can cater for you appropriately. If you have not informed us at the point of booking, please contact the restaurant to discuss your requirements with a member of our team. Tables are allocated on the day by the restaurant team and although we will do everything we can to allocate a table in your preferred area of the dining room, we cannot always guarantee this.
Cancellation Policy
The restaurant's continued viability relies on reservations being honoured by our customers, and adequate notice being given of any changes or cancellations. Accordingly, the following applies: 1. For groups of 8+ people, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for any booking that is cancelled, or if numbers are reduced without prior notice. 2. For all bookings, you must notify us of a cancellation or any changes to the number of guests at least 24 hours prior to your booking. 3. Mamma Roma Restaurant reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of £15 per person for any bookings changed or cancelled within this 24 hour notice period. 4. The cancellation fee reflects the cost incurred by Mamma Roma Restaurant in terms of staffing, food, and any lost revenue as a result of turning away other potential bookings. 5. We will notify you if any cancellation fee is applied. 6. Any bookings which fail to turn up without any prior notice, will also incur a £15 per person fee. 7. Where possible, the Mamma Roma team will actively manage restaurant bookings by checking attendance with the main guests/contact we have in our bookings diary.
Voucher Policy
All vouchers are to be redeemed in Mamma Roma Restaurant only. All vouchers are valid for 10 months from the date of sale. Vouchers not used within this time will be forfeited with no entitlement to refund or exchange. It is not possible to extend the voucher beyond the stated 10 month validity period. Vouchers can be used as full or part payment on goods and services at Mamma Roma Restaurant. Purchases made with vouchers are not refundable in cash. Vouchers are not transferable, refundable in cash or replaceable if lost, destroyed or stolen. Vouchers can only be used for a single transaction; any remaining amount is not exchangeable for cash or another voucher and will be automatically forfeited. The company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
Child Friendly Guidance
Mamma Roma Restaurant is a child friendly restaurant and will always try our best to accommodate all our diners with their requirements to give the best experience. The Management of Mamma Roma Restaurant also takes Health & Safety seriously, this includes children moving around the restaurant. It is key that the adult supervising the child (children) ensure they sit in their seat unless they are going to the toilet. The reason for this request is to minimise the chance of an accident as there is piping hot food and glasses being carried by the waiting staff within the restaurant…. "None of us want an accident". Thank you for your co-operation
